The Organ and Grand Piano
The church organ, located in the loft, was purchased in 1960 from the Wick Company. It has 15 ranks of stops. To the right of the altar is the grand piano, from a benefactor in the Chicago area, who has enabled our music ministers to be more effective in leading the congregation in participating in this aspect of the liturgy.
Bronze Plates from the Original Communion Rail Gate
Today, beneath the traditional side statues of Mary and Joseph are located the original bronze plates that were on the gates of the Church’s first communion rail on top of the marble steps. The railing was replaced in 1952 when the present day communion rail was installed at the bottom of the marble steps.
The Sanctuary Lamp
The sanctuary lamp given in 1904 in memory of Doctor and Mrs. Boucher was dismantled in 1952 and split apart to provide not only a new sanctuary lamp but also a canopy for the tabernacle.
